This time round, I cycle with my friend Jun Le. I remembered in 1 of my friend's blog, he said that he rode from Sembawang to Punggol via Seletar & Yishun. Since Jun Le seemed to know the way, he lead the way.
Before the start of journey, the meeting point was supposed to be at SPC but then, the Air Pump is out of service, he met me at my house downstair. With the lack of clothing choices, left with Secondary School T-Shirt. Bobian, wear lor. But then, wth lar, when I'm at my house downstair... he's wearing the same type of shirt as me. Ok, the only difference is colour.
The famous Roti Prata shop at Jalan Kayu. Therefore, the route will be this:
- Yishun Ring Road
- Stop 1: Yishun Blk 414
- Pump bike tyre
- Yishun Ave 11, 6, 1
- Seletar Club Road
- Seletar Camp: West Camp Road
- Stop 2: Jalan Kayu
- Eat Roti Prata @ Thasevi
- Sengkang West Ave
- Stop 3: Fernvale LRT
- Lunch break
- Jalan Kayu
- Seletar Camp: West Camp Road
- Seletar Club Road
- Yishun Ave 1, St 41, Ring Road
Stop 1: Pump air to Bicycle tyre = more power for riding.
Stop 2: Stop at Jalan Kayu, eat Roti Prata. Ok, at this stop, only took 2 pictures - to be posted below.
Stop 3: Rain again! Stuck at Sengkang Fernvale. G_G
Initial plan: Ride around Sengkang before heading home. The weather has something against us! Rain rain rain... zzzz!~ We headed home when it drizzles. wtf man, halfway thru, rain heavily! With no shelter along the way (except bus stop), bobian... chiong all the way to Yishun. You know what happen when we reached Yishun. Hmmmm... it's freaking cold when wind blew by! Imagine how "dry" it is.
Oh btw, here are the pictures taken at Stop2:
As mentioned, this is the Roti-Prata shop at Jalan Kayu. Accidentally took the picture with an Indian man, thus it has been blurred by using Photoshop to protect people's privacy lar.
Another leftover food. Roti-Prata... out of 2 pieces, now left 1/8 of it.
