After 5 weeks of Internship, I found out that there are 2 AsiaSoft in Singapore. O_O
1 of the AsiaSoft is dealing about Software... I suppose. The other AsiaSoft is dealing about Games, mainly publishing of games. Example: MapleStory, Audition, Cabal.
Hmmm... wondering how come there are 2 AsiaSoft companies in SG. Hmmmm...
Week 5 internship. At this time of post, I already got nothing to do liao. 1.5 hours more, perhaps web surfing and blogging? =D

20 May 2008 Something similar to 12 May 2008. Almost 6 hours are spent outside delivering and receiving stuffs. Last stop at Tanjong Pagar to deliver something but then dunno what happen.
My company side: Let them sign both contract forms. They need to keep 1 of them, and the other I need to return it back. That company side: I need to take all.
Miscommunication here? Decided to call up and finally they said... let them take 1st, then go home straight. zzz... but then good, no pathetic bus ride home. ^^

Testing whether my upgraded comp can use for battling zakum or not. So far so good... no serious lag, no hang, can battle zakum. Hoho... it rocks man. Next time got guild zak, I no need go LAN shop liao.

Week 4 already eh. Somehow, on this week, time seems to fly especially Monday. Out of the 9 hours work (1 hour lunch break inclusive), I spent 7 hours outside (which includes lunch).
12 May 2008 Like I said, I spent 7 hours outside (which includes lunch) out of the 9 hours. 1st thing in the morning is to send the same usual stuff to OCBC at Raffles Place before heading to office. At office liao, do a bit of stuff which I did on 10 May 2008. After that, got another task which need me to travel to a OMGWTF place and get the cheque from another company, somewhere really far from workplace. Even further between workplace and my house. Woodlands? Not just Woodlands, it is Woodlands Industrial Park. I was that I must return to office by 3.30pm because they need to deposit the cheque.
I know this is impossible, but I still reach there without fail. As I reached the destination and received the cheque, by then is already 2pm+. Go back office = sure 4pm+. Decided to call back to the office on what to do next. I was instructed to go to the nearest OCBC Bank and deposit cheque, have lunch then return back to office. By the time all these tasks have been done, I reached back to the office at... 5.30pm? Last 30 minutes, do what sia. Rest lor. =X
13 May 2008 Updating of invoice amount. Only update those amount which had been paid up by customers, else no need itchy hand update it. Comparing of any missing invoice between the 2 excel spreadsheets. Hmmm, how am I going to say this? Compare and check? Missing = highlight? Up next, key in Cash Receipts but then, sian... do something wrong, need redo and continue the next day.

Checking again! But it is bank statement. zzz... dun wish to elaborate on, find it nothing to say. Last task is to submit Trust Receipts to UOB Tampines. 15 May 2008 Total time killed: 4 hours, same destination, different stuff. Send 2 things on the same day, same destination but different timing and different stuff (obviously). Simple mah, just go there, send, then let them sign to acknowledge that they had received it. That's all.
Certain invoices wanted. I was told to search for it in the 3 mentioned files but I can't seem to find it about double checkings. zzz... where is it? >.<"
Last task, actually it is similar to 14 May 2008 task - send Trust Receipts to UOB Tampines. But this time round, I can go home straight from there. yay-ness? I reached home at 6.10pm nia... earliest record. =D (Bcuz if I head back to office, the time will be already 6pm. So I dun c any point to go back. btw, I did call them b4 heading back home.)
16 May 2008 Main task for this day is to post all 3 months sales but then I can only manage to complete a month sale. zzz... cannot anyhow check sia. Of course, there are other tasks to do, that's why I can only manage to check 1 month sale. Need to continue on Monday (19 May 2008) Tuesday (20 May 2008). Oh yea, since I can't the supervisor in the afternoon, I have to look for him on Tuesday. I also hope the Liaison Officer will visit me again 1 of the days between 20 May 2008 and 23 May 2008. =D

07 May 2008 OMG... It is rainy day but I still take bus. Surprisingly, the other half of my journey... no rain! Yay! Imagine it is rainy at the other half of my journey, sian lo... sure late. But on this day, it is rainy at my 1st half of journey and not 2nd half. ^^
Anyway, on this day... wa seh... total time killed: 4 hours. Morning go Raffles Place. Afternoon go Bugis. Other than that, I just do my data entry for Bank Statements. Fullstop... it is that simple. No need to say much.
08 May 2008 1 task for this day. Bank statement data entries again. A pretty long entries to key in, and I managed to clear it finally on this day. But then, it was about 5.15pm. The remaining 45 mins, slack! But cannot too slack until they give you task to do. =X
09 May 2008 Factoring again! But this time round... it is SUPER DUPER urgent. Luckily, this time round, with an aid from a collegue, task completed though late. Paiseh... bobian, traffic jam. Anyway, thanks to someone who called up and book a cab. =)
Last task of the day: Checking of factoring stuff against Bank Statement. Argh... I almost lost... no wonder I stucked for at least 30mins just to check whether I missed out any statement or not. In the end, still need to continue the next day - Saturday, 10 May 2008
10 May 2008 Continue from what I did yesterday (09 May 2008). Once completed, I thought nothing else to do liao. Oh man, factoring. Eh wait a minute, factoring entry onli nia. Key in this and that, photocopy everything, chop here chop there. Done! 1st thing to do on Monday (12 May 2008), go Raffles Place. So yea... no need wake up early!!!
On this day, after work... Leave work at 1.10pm Lunch at 1.15pm Finished lunch at 1.35pm Walk out from workplace area at 1.40pm... until Guild Master call me Fetch me at a bus stop and off to Krislan (via Pasir Ris... cuz nid fetch another people) Reached Krislan... well, you know what will happen after this. Pretty obvious.

Week 2 of Internship is coming to an end soon but how come I still blog this? Surprised? It's Labour Day!!! Holiday!!! No work!!! No pathetic bus ride, yay? -.- Yes, very pathetic bus ride. I even fell asleep in bus without listening to song in my mp3 player. OMG! Reason: Traffic jam! Here jam, there jam... at least it is not that serious during non-rainy days.
28 April 2008 A continuation from what I did on 25 & 26 April 2008. OMG... this checking like cannot end sia. Oh yea, not to forget, I need to deliver something to 1 place around Raffles Place. Yes, this means, I do not have to wake up early (and go workplace late). ^^
29 April 2008 I was told to key in some data entries for factoring and deliver it to the same place as yesterday URGENTLY! Wa, so urgent? But nice, kill time. As I know what to do with this factoring stuff, somehow never kena scolded. Hehe ^^

And the most interesting one: Check Employees' Salaries, wah... the salary for every employee. How much they earn? Surely, you want to ask me, rite?
